Oh, your original post seemed to lead that you had it.

You sure you want magnaflow? I myself am getting the ebay catback exhaust for 388 shipped. Sounds amazing too.

I am no mech at all....but going to get a few buddies and install it, saving about 150 bucks.

does this exhaust setup take out the resonators that are on the car? that would save me about 120 dollars. do you have video of what it sounds like? have you already installed it on your car? if so, what would you say the difficulty was for installing it?

i have the M2 exhaust on my car and i installed it myself. Im 16 and i was able to install it so i would say its easy. Just bolt off bolt on. The only difficult was that the bolts were rusted but after you get them off its simple. The sound is amazing with a low rumble a low rpms and a nice sport sound once you pass 2000 rmp. This exhaust takes off all the resinators except the one on your mid pipe wcich you can get a straight pipe for cheap. I did this to my gs400 and i get compliments all the time. Idk how this will sound on a gs300 due to displacement but it shouldn't be that much apart. you notice a little more power at higher rpms.

You get added noise from any exhaust.....

People complain all day about drone......and keep in mind the pos egay stuff? Is made in the same country as the branded stuff......on the same line.....

I will be buying that pos egay exhaust lol.......and if its not what I like? Sell it, and sell my stock and buy something else...

Buying borla or magnaflow is just a waste IMO. But hey, thats just my opinion lol.

edit: 388$ vs 500$ for mufflers.......idk.....rather get a cat back

you said it... added NOISE is what your exhaust will give you. Same country? who cares the point is QUALITY. why is your exhaust so cheap to acquire?
Dont try to Justify Cheap and Quality, as the two rarely coexist.

Been there done that, but is your car so go for it. on a GS3 i would go quality unless i was FI then id throw a 4" straight thru custom with Tips, otherwise be prepared to sound/ look ricey (IMHO). Sounding aggressive with nothing to back it up...I would rather stay Stock.

magnaflow is in my opinion is quality ive place this type of mufflers on over differnt cars ,and that after the fact i try those egay crap.i cant complaint at all . so i dont know where you get the idea there made in the same assembly line ..i current own a RMM exhaust (magnaflow re branded) i love this exhaust..no drone very sweet sound i dont get pull over for sounding rices or get the wtf look ..so until try numerous exhaust cant really judge them.. ..
now custom exhaust setup depend on the shop that does them if piping is bend the right way your exhaust will flow better and make numerous different sound... again my own opinion

It's definitely a big decision that I'm trying to make. But I'm not real picky one what kind of exhaust that I want. If I had serious cash I wud get the Borla setup. But I'm a college kid, and I don't like the stock setup. It's too quit for me. It's a V8, rarely does a v8 give u a sound that u won't like.

Quality does not always come at a higher price. You do not have to pay double to yield better quality.

Why is it so cheap? Maybe they use different metals, maybe robots had more to do with it than having to pay labor to humans, maybe they copied Borla's design and did not have to pay for R&D like Borla.

Its not always "oh its cheap **** cause they use cheap materials and it wont fit".

That used to be the rumor back in the days, no longer.

Sorry friend, you won't sway my thinking on this. Many people have this ebay exhaust (and headers mind you). And they are still running strong, and power gains to boot, over stock. And sound good.
