Yeah man I remember your build. You haven't been working on it?

It was well discussed and directed in the thread at the time that you have an immobilizer ecu, which is the problem but is not really a big deal at all.

You have two easy options that cost roughly the same:

1- Call a local mobile locksmith that has the Toyota programmer to come out and re-flash the cars cabin security ecu and then your current key with work will with the ecu just fine. (approx $125-$250)

2-Just buy a non-immobilizer ecu (approx $100-$200) There have been a couple go through the classifieds since you've been working on this car..

Hope you get it worked out soon, sucks you haven't been driving your swap yet..

Yup, your Aristo ECU is an immobilizer one. Get a non-immobilizer ECU or try to get a key made as mentioned before.

No wire changing.. It won't have the additional grey plug, but you just leave that connector not plugged in and your good to go.

If you are going to replace the ECU, make sure that it says "89661-3A470" that's the model without immobilizer.

I think I have an extra GTE ecu laying around that does not have the immobilizer. Let me know if you're interested and I can go dig through the box of parts to double check.

Im on the same exact boat as you but why would the fuel pump keep the motor from cranking?
