Default Tanabe Midpipe Video and Review

So finally I got around to getting my Tanabe midpipe installed. This midpipe sounds GREAT! I've got it paired up with a Tanabe Medallion Touring axleback exhuast and a Joe-Z intake. Initially the exhaust note was really loud, but after around 150 miles the ECU adjusted itself and the exhaust note is a bit more tame now. There's a definite growl around 3-5k rpm, something that was missing with just the Tanabe MT. The Tanabe MT dies out around 3k rpm and makes way for the midpipe, giving a really nice sound. The noise is pretty quiet when the engine is cold, but after it warms up it sounds awesome. Inside the cabin, there is very little drone to no drone even at freeway speeds (60-80 mph). You can still hear the exhaust growling when accelerating with the windows up. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this product from Tanabe.

In regards to price: from my understanding, Tanabe only came out with 2 or 3 of these for research and development. They decided not to put the midpipes into production because the cost would be too high.

Someone was selling theirs, so I jumped on it right away.
