Cool Tanabe...

Ok, so I got asked an opinion on some exhausts & exhaust work in private. We got on the discussion of the upcoming Tanabe exhaust.
3.0L mitsu v6 - tanabe

3.0L mitsu v6 - magnaflow

Someone explain to me, why Tanabe is hyped so much? I don't understand it. They really do sound identical to a mid-tier Magnaflows & only carry 3-4x the price.

My new #1 by a MILE is aeroturbine. I heard one in person. Only muffler sound I've ever had drop my jaw with a wierd look. Even fire v6 is a seirous *** your pants sound. Borla is still my #2 by a fairly wide margin.
Expect $200 a muffler for those, not cheap., but not rediculous.
After that is pretty much the magnaflow/clones.

In terms of tone, they're similar but i noticed alot of poping noise coming from the magnaflow video while the tanabe didn't have any. Personally, i would rather spend more or no exhaust at all because the poping noise would drive me nuts

Also the tanabe coming out for the es is the medalion touring not the concept g so it would be better to listen to the clips for the Is350 even though it is a larger engine

apexi is just one (their rs, ws, and ws2 are great), you can get universal muffler from yahoo japan auctions for pretty cheap (contact robert aka the face).. and itll be unique since not many over here can get them
