The Quaife LSD is a helical, mechanical diff made up of gears and washers setting preload.
The Giken/Torsen LSD contains disks, like clutch disks, the give you more adjustablilty with the desired preload.

So they both basically do the same thing just that one is fully locking Giken.. And the other will transfer power from one wheel to the other.
I drive my car arrhrssive sometimes. I enjoy having fun with it and dislike one wheel spin in the rain and snow.
