I purchased a carrier for a Lexus ISF from a Lexus dealership in Atlanta (I believe it was I have to double check again) brand new differential for a 2010-2014 for the LSD. Now that I have it installed when I spin one wheel in the air while in neutral the other side doesn’t do anything and this is me trying to spin both sides. I always had LSD diffs whether fwd or rwd spin together in the same direction. Am I missing something here?
The factory Torsen LSD acts as an open differential when wheels are unweighted.
Both wheels need to have some grip to perform it's true LSD function. That's just how the Torsen's are designed.
