Check out the link. Although this is for the trucks it looks like it MAY fit the cars! I have a 99 LS400 so I will post there as I find out new information. I need to know max height from the head flange to case top. Also, I need to confirm that the bolt pattern on the 4.7 is the same as 4.0 and 4.3 engines. Any imput is appreciated.

I don't believe the 4.7 has VVTi and so I don't think the supercharger will work.
Ok, unless there is a physical interference there is no reason that having VVTi or not will dissallow a SC.
Now, if the intake bolt patterns are different that is one thing. If the unit is too tall to fit under the hood... another. I will search for Steve post and see what was said...
Ok, I searched and found the thread about this. The consenses is that it WILL bolt on to the engine but it is too TALL for a stock hood. GReddy says that there is a problem because the truck V8s will compensate fuel wise but the sedan V8s will not. It is NOT a vvti issue. So, if one were to use an aftermarket hood or "bulge" to clear the unit... and use a proper fuel system... it WOULD work. Just not an easy bolt on and go item.
