Default V8 Supercharger...!!!

http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/4.7_V8_supercharger.htm

Check out the link. Although this is for the trucks it looks like it MAY fit the cars! I have a 99 LS400 so I will post there as I find out new information. I need to know max height from the head flange to case top. Also, I need to confirm that the bolt pattern on the 4.7 is the same as 4.0 and 4.3 engines. Any imput is appreciated.

I emailed them about the blower for the Tundra (4.7ltr V8), they sent me back a link to the website but few details;

If it fits the 4.0ltr V8 block and fits under the bonnet it has to be a serious consideration for SC400 owners, 50% increase in BHP & Torque for $4k

I am sure you can forget about using the TRD ECU that comes with this supercharger.

Looks like this was discussed a while back in the GS forum. Consensus is... too tall for the stock hood. An aftermarket hood with a bulge would be required... oh, well.

why not just wait a few months (i wouldn't hold my brea...) for the aussie supercharger kit? the exchange is better than japan also...

http://www.forcedairtech.com.au/

just better hope they fit us-spec cars...

trd isn't going to develop anything for our cars (i wouldn't waste your time looking to them)...just not economically feasible.

if they did, would they have to market it as a lrd product in the us?:eek:
