Hey there, Thinking about picking this up, the 55-75 shot, does anyone have this on there IS? How hard is this on your motor? Does the kit have everything you need? I wouldnt use it much, just here and there for fun...

 

I don't have one on my IS but i had that same kit on my Accord a decade ago, unless its changed, the kit comes with all the necessary stuff for installation including 55,65 and 75 shot jets. Your also gonna need a bottle heater, nitrous pressure gauge and a purge kit if you want to get a "full" shot out of your system... you can live without the bottle heater if you live somewhere hot but the purge kit and nitrous pressure gauge are a must.

i fried the **** out of my automatic transmission but the motor was fine LOL. but thats a dinky Honda. i'm sure the IS(250 or 350) tranny and motor can handle a 75 shot no problem.

 

Bringing this back, anyone else know the 411 on this kit, I really want one.

If your a 350 you need to tap the fuel line before the injector ,but if its a 250 you can get it from your cold start 7th injector by removing the bolt and install bolt with fitting or tap the bolt and added fitting for the line. If you need more info pm by the way 50-75 shot dont realy feel it I had a125 shot on my car and it was a 90 hp bump on a is250 stick

HKS350 did a nice write up about the Zex 350z kit. Used this kit for the fuel pressure simmilarity. That thread is very informative.

 

Talked to a performance shop in my area today, said it should be completely safe, i wanna do it

 

Do it. My shop didn't have any problems hooking-up the kit.
