Question Problem with startup?

hey guys, got a little problem, when the engine is cold wheni start the car the rpms go up to like 1500 then it slowly goes down to 900? any ideas what could it be? I have new sparkplugs for it the iridium ones but i dont wanna start taking apart the manifold. has anyone done this, i have a lil knowlege about basic car mechanical things, but i just care about the car too much and dont want to mess anythin up. i really dont wanna go somewhere and pay a 100 bucks to change the stupid spark plugs lol.
oh yeah also what size are the speakers in the doors? 5 1/4"?

Kasper, I see in your profile that you have a stock 1993 Lexus GS300 (isn't showing on the left in the new CL design right now).

I don't think this is a problem with your plugs. It actually sounds pretty normal to me - most engines have a slightly higher RPM at startup as a warmup cycle.

Is this something that just started? How long have you had the car (is weather getting cooler in the morning)?

On your speaker question - I suggest you don't "bunch" unrelated questions, if you post it in the Electronics section you'll get a better response. Also might want to try the search as I'm sure this question has been asked.

Here you go - I did a search and found the answer in about 30 seconds (looked for 'speaker size first'). Click here for your answer.

So is your intake real new? Did the problem start up when you put that on the car?

Just trying to figure out 'what changed'.

I thought the car is suppose to do that, My car does it every time I start up, unless it wasn't like that before then it is normal,
