All the hardware fits but the electronics won't work on our 4GR-FSE engine.

Just found a dyno from a Japanese installation shop for the HKS S/C kit on a 2GR-FSE engine.
Their price was 722000 Yen including installation works (8741USD or 6529 Euro)

Yeah saw that^

According to HKS's dyno
350 hp (motor)
315 tq (motor)

-18% driveline loss
287 whp
258 wtq

So this means I would have loss -3 wtq and gained only +7whp.

My pervious dyno was 280whp and 261wtq

Time for a new license plate to abbreviate BEAST MODE.

^^ Yeah i've been trying to think of something else.
BOSTHAPY or ITSJDMYO

That engine Dyno reads the STOCK numbers as
293hp
258tq

So if you add the horsepower gain shown above to my last dyno numbers you would end up with.
337WHP
318WTQ

AND those ^^^ Numbers are damn close to what I put down on a 80HP shot of nitrous. 330whp 320wtq. Which was good for the record holding 12.55 1/4 mile run in an IS350. Like I said above it also feels just about as fast as my nitrous runs.

Yes but if you account for all of the power gains in the low to mid driving conditions you have a much more fun car to drive that has better streetable/drivable power no?

NOS is more like an on or off WOT or not isn't it? Versus now you have more power everywhere.

Have never used NOS myself so I don't really know how it works.

Nitrous makes tons of TQ that falls off very fast through the RPM band. The other factors are with nitrous the bottle pressure falls through the 1/4 run so the further down the track you would have less applied horsepower. This is not the case with a supercharger.

I think with good DA and the right track cond I can be in the sub 12.5 range easy.

I bet my trap speed are up alot from last time. 109mph.

Yea let me get my water pump replaced first! :O
36,000 miles and failing already??????

Lexus also wants to perform all the other TSB's on the IS. So it will be a few weeks.

BTW apparently a Supercharger does not void the motor warranty! All my warranty issues were approved by the shop foreman and local GM today.

Which includs:
New dash
New door panels
valve spring recall
fuel line recall
water pump warranty
front window trim warranty
rear brake calipers
various rattles
and few others, all of this with them well aware the supercharger is on the car and running. Lexus wins sometimes.

Did the gm specifically say the sc does not void the engine warranty or r u basing it on the fact that they approved of the warranty work stated above? There's quite a difference cuz those things has nothing to do with ur sc, ur engine on the other hand does...I feel like if something does happen, they could say the sc applied additional wear and tear
