PPE,

When do I expect to receive mine header? I am 19th on the list. I am not going to put it on until April or May when it is warm enough here, but want to know the status. Haven't receive any email or phone call from you.

Ok took me5 hours to do the install ran into a few problems finally done so i guess im officially the first with these on end result umm deffinately lost alot of low end i only drove around for like a 30 min ecu might need some more miles for better result but so far im not that impressed to be honest it doesnt feel like 20whp i will have to dyno to see where im at but it does pull a little harder up top. my engine mods are srt, tanabe,tm plugs,PPE and some secret stuff is it worth it not sure yet!

Ugh I am hoping that's not the case with these headers. Really wished PPE went with 1.5" primaries and 2.25" collector. That would have given us some top end, but more importantly, low end would be retained. Though azcamber said he didn't lose low end power..

Pull the ECU fuse for a while and test the car again.

Keep us posted on how it goes. I really hope it's just that your ECU hasn't adjusted to them yet. How did the install go? Was it hard?

it wasnt that hard but i work on aircraft for a living so i cut alot of corners like i didnt raise the engine so it was a little trickier my passenger side header heatshield was the sacrfice i trashed it to get it out lol the one thing i had to do which im a little concerned about is i had to remove the heatshield around the steering shaft because it was hitting on driver side header hard without it im wondering if the heat will effect the bushings there i wonder if the Ls have the same issue.

Did the o2 wires reach or did you have to move them?

the o2 wires are fine and i have a 4.3l i took it out again guys i wouldnt panic just yet it ran a little better still not what i expected but maybe its just me my expectations might be to high i wont make my final verdict till i dyno but on a positive but not so accurate note i have a g tac app on my iphone and i ran 5.6 to 5.8 0/60 consistantly with a 5.2 and 5.4 once when it was like 40 degrees out i did 4 0/60 pulls just now and ran 5.3 consistantly like i said though positive but not accurate to me atleast i also got a kill lol dude with this blk 4dr g35 pulled up on me from what i could tell he had intake and exhaust i let him hit it first 3 times and pulled him in pretty quick which was impressive to me because a guy at work has the same car with just an intake and it usually takes me a little longer to catch him if he punches first so thats my update on these ill dyno in a week or two to see whats really up but definately lost Some low end though! maybe after one of u guys get the install done you can chime in.

Did you have any problem fitting the gaskets between the header and the cat flange like the s&s headers did?

its not really a problem but i do think they could have done a better job with the flanges to the cat as far as fitment i used all new gaskets but there is a gap between cat and flange because unlike the oem mainifolds there isnt a recessed ring on the header flange so the gasket can seat better.
