Default PPE V8 Headers GS, LS, SC

We finally have the first set made, dynoed and being tested. We tested on a 2001 LS430 and the headers are a direct bolt on to the stock cats. O2 sensor do not need to be modified at all.

We will also be making a direct fit version for the GS as well. We have a GS400 test car coming in next week to get the different flange locations.

As soon as we have both versions ready to go, we will start producing them/taking orders. Retail will be $600 including the ceramic coating and we will do a group buy for the first run.

The design is 4-1 with 1 5/8" runners and a 2.5" outlet. Good for superchargers and other power adders. HP and TQ gains are both around 20 (whp,ft*lbs). I will post the dyno and pictures as soon as we have a chance to upload them to our site.

*modification is required to the small steering shaft heat shield. We removed it.*

I will update this as we complete the GS testing and get closer to production.

only thing i didnt like about the other headers for the i6 is you need all those o2 sim's & mods just for it to fit. from the read of ppe's header it seems its a direct p&p no need for o2 sims which is a + for me.

I'm definitely game to buy a set and will be standing by....20hp/tq is a nice increase!

Im about to get a full custom exhaust system installed but before I can do that I need to get my hands on a set of flanges that bolt up to the CATS in the gs430 (the oval ones) and was wondering if anyone can tell me where I can find a set?
I need this type of flange for now to bolt the new piping up to the cats. Then when the PPE headers come out Im going to remove the cats and will need to get the triangular shaped flange to bolt the piping to the PPE header; I hope I can get a set from PPE since they dont exist. I'm using all new piping and dont want to hack my stock exhaust for the oval flanges. I wish I could do it right the first time but Im getting the exhaust piping done before the headers come out.....nothing like a little re-work and more money!
