I suspect it's an isolated issue. I'm definitely going through mine when I get it. So far I'm not fond of the burr I've been seding around the O2 bung.
Yes, it's an actual hole. And it's right at where the manifold bolts to the motor. If i were to install it like this it would most likely make an exhaust leak noise. I hope they pay for shipping or at least compensate a little of that cost for me to get that spot welded. It wouldn't make sense for me to have to wait to ship it back there, have them weld it, recoat it then wait to have it shipped back.

You do not want a leak as it can pull oxygen and mess with your air/fuel ratio. I would contact PPE as they may have another set they can ship and repair this set for stock. It is easier to wait now than wait after you install. Welding requires some removal of the coating so that is less attractive unless you have a strict time schedule. The best option is have PPE weld and re-coat and send another set or this repaired set to you.

Well from my experience, they forgot to drill the bung hole when I purchsed the last set off S&S headers from them. They paid for shipping both ways.

Just posted this on the GB thread by accident.

Got an email from PPE about the situation of my header with the pinhole. I have two options. I can have another set shipped out to me that should be here by friday or monday. Then ship my set back at no cost. Or i can have someone weld it and send them the bill. I'm thinking that sending it back would be the way to go that way it doesn't look like a mess after it gets welded without a Jet-Hot coat on it.

Just got mine. The burr around the o2 bung doesn't look bad at all. No need to file mine down. No leaks either.

Originally I wanted that polished look, but I'm digging the black!

^Good News. I hope when mine are delivered I find the same.
Glad to see PPE is backing their product.

Anybody else that got these have any feedback on them? What's the headcount on those who've installed them?

Sorry man, I guess I really dont have alot of patience...it seems like everyone is already enjoying their headers, but not posting any results. Or just trying to figure out how to install them? Ontario Canada, sounds far lol

Yeah I read about the leak on your headers, sorry to hear that but good thing you noticed it before installing them. What kind of turn around time are you looking at from PPE?
