Exclamation Transmission Problem Must Read!!!

Guys, last week i found spot of oil leak in the rear of my car. i thought it was brake fluid, so i was very concern of safety. I took my car to the Dealer for a check up and they found out that my tranny and differential was leaking oil. With no question ask, the dealer gave me a loaner car for 3 to 5 days to drive around. So they are can replace a new tranny, and torque converter for me. I bought my car brand new and i only have 12k miles on it. I juss wanted to let everyone know to watch out for any leaks in the rear of the car.. IT might be some serious problems and you should take it to the dearler ASAP before warranty is over. If i didnt have warranty on my car, this repair will cost me a hella lot of money somewhere around 3 to 5k to fix. So guys juss my 2 cent to look out for any weird oil leaks. I also want to know if this happened to anyone before or not. does it only happens to da GS300 or all GS models?

Here's a tip for you guys to spot any leaks on your car.. park your car and put a paper board or a towel under your car, come back and check if there's any oil stains in the paperboard or towel. If there is, you should pay a visit to your dealership.

Damn, you have a 2002 model and already have 12000 miles on it. I just turned 13000 and I have a 2001. Sorry to hear about your problem. I'm sure Lexus will take care of you...
