The plot thickens.
Well, I’m glad I asked the question ‘cause I assumed that the problem was limited to L-Tuned mufflers. If Borla does it too, it’s back to the drawing board – apparently the problem’s not the mufflers themselves but something else????
Now, gotta consider another cause – maybe the rear hangers or some other part of the mounting hardware? I know the LT uses the stock hangers – does the Borla setup use the stock “doughnuts” as well?
Personally, I’d just as soon try to find a solution and keep the LT if Borla is going to have the same problem. Having had Borlas on my SC4 (and I liked them), I was going to replace the LT with Borla – I’ll put that on hold.
KayGee and RA, thanks for keeping me from additional expense that wouldn’t have solved the problem.
