I suggest the RMM exhaust system. I was really satisfied when I put mine on. Here is what many describe it to be, "While cruising at low rpm's the exhaust is relatively quiet, but when the throttle is pushed to the floor, the car seems to come alive with a deep, race-car like tone!" It is angled 4" though.

I did a lot of research when I got mine a little while ago and I found the lowest price at 3N1.

Good luck with everything and let us know what you decide to do.

i believe there are only a few full cat-backs that come out straight
1) greddy evo and evo2
2) apexi WS
3) tanabe hyper medallion

there are several that are axle-back that come out straight
1) l-tuned
2) carson tuned
3) hks dragger II
4) blitz nur-spec
5) borla
6) l-sportline
7) ? (that's all i can think of.......)

Thanks a lot for the help/suggestions! I really appreciate it. I'm thinking about going with the Greddy. Whats the difference between the evo and evo2?

Thanks!

NOW IN FULL STAINLESS STEEL ! Inherent in its name, the EVO2 cat-back exhaust system is a huge step forward. In addition to the GReddy straight-through technology, offset tip design and large piping diameters of the original EVO, the EVO2 is now offered in full stainless steel providing improved looks, durability and corrosion resistance while maintaining the best qualities of the original such as fitment, sound and performance.

I personally think the Greddy cat backs are too large of piping. If you had a turbo or even a supercharger then it would be OK but if you are running a standard intake and other bolt-ons the piping is just too big. I wouldn't do anything more then a axle back. THe OE exhaust is great quality all the way up to the mufflers. If you have ever seen a dyno sheet on a stock car with a cat back vs an axle back, the cat backs loose a fair bit until your redlining where it make a bit more power. Its just not as driveable. I would do the RMM or HKS. Just my 2 cents.

Default trd exhaust

What about the TRD exhauast?? I know it varies across the RPM spectrum but is it worth it bolting on a TRD exhaust for the extra few ponies?

Ummmm...............the BORLA exhausts ARE Fullcat back , NOT Axle back..... they also have the best doggone warranty in the bizness.

The Borla comes out straight AND they are pretty damn quiet, especially if you dont have a header orstill have at least ONE cat ( OEM Y pipe) in the car still.... with no cats & a header.... they can really freakin roar... but only at say above half throttle etc.. .anythign under that & they are REALLY quiet........ even mine which absolutely freaking ROARS like god's own hollerin' when i am past 3/4 throttle is quiet as all hell at startup & also when cruising... my damn BOV makes MUCH more noise than the exhaust.

good luck
