SRT HFI help kill wrx?
Speed adders are a good thing, but it's a lot easier to hop up a WRX than a GS -- so whenever you line up you have to ask yourself if you feel lucky.
Damn I'm glad I live near SRT!!!!
Average WRX driver can probably pull 5.9~6.0 0-60. It's really hard to determine which car is faster unless both were driven by the same driver if it's manual.
Keep in mind, auto WRXs with mods can be FAST (especially when turbos are changed, and the lag isn't too much of a problem for those autos)
Second I'd combine this with the SRT HFI/ecu for top end push.
Alternatively, you could get a rocket launcher or one of those spinning cutting things that comes out of your wheel that pops their tires.

If the WRX guy changes turbos a GS4 will need some forced air cause a light car with a 450hp motor is gonna be pretty hard to beat otherwise. Gonna take more then a TC and LSD and a little more air on top to beat a WRX.

It is really hard for me to believe that a GS400 with any (mechanical) LSD could beat out an equivalently powered GS400 with TRAC.
Does anyone know of any testing done in this venue?

TRAC takes significant power away from acceleration of the GS once you begin to break traction. No offense, but you've got a GS3 with no performance mods, so you probably don't experience this much except maybe in the rain.
Take for example when I pull out in traffic and hammer it with VSC turned on. If I give it enough gas at launch, TRAC/VSC will kick in and rob enough power that I'm in danger of getting hit (this happened to me on Sunday).
Now with the LSD (even with a performance torque converter), I can turn VSC off and accelerate with full gas and barely break traction.
Spinning wheels, no power even with gas floored, pulsing yellow light on dash = BAD
full power launch with traction hookup = GOOD
