Do you guys think that 14-16 HP to the rear wheels is actually worth around 1,200. Your thoughts?

 

14-16 HP is certainly not worth $1200. I say be content with the mid 13 car you've got.

Yeah, the difference is an eternity on the track, but is that sort of difference really relevant to everyday daily driving, or is it mostly for bragging rights?

 

What are you trying to accomplish with all the HP you are trying to squeeze from your IS?

Do you plan to track, drag or street race?

But to answer your question, that's about right price to add 14+hp.

 

Is that the price for the PPE header? Should got it when they had the group buy when they had it for like 860 shipped

 

Yes i am speaking about the PPE headers and i can get them for 585 but them 148 for coating and 250 for the high flow cats which ill have to have , then install will be around 1200 ish

 

Yeah it seems like the average for the ISx50 has been $1.00 per 1hp gain. Most full exhaust that would maybe give you 12hp were 1200 or more. intakes that might give you 3hp were around 300..etc.. etc..
