Default Need help! changed spark plugs now this...

Hi guys, i just changed my spark plug, cleaned the TB and my MAF sensor. when i put everything back my idel is very high at 1500 rpm, where it used to be below 1000. (around 700) i did touch the throttle cable bolts (trying taking off the TB) what could be the problem? what should i do? thanks!!

My .02 would be to reset the ECU or just drive the car like normal for a week. Let the comp adjust to the new way the motor runs cause of the changes you made (new plugs, TB and MAF, etc..) It should smooth itself out.
Anyone else?

^^^ good point, 4pointslow (lol point-4points... get it???)... Any way, i was thinking the same thing... Maybe you didnt let the cleaner dry off properly and you need to drive it to let it disintegrate(if that is the right choice of words)... But try resetting the ecu as this guy said (you should have took of the neg. battery cable while cleaning the maf in the first place - not sure if you did!)... and then go from there... Keep us posted.

so i reset the ECU and drove around for about 5 mins, everything went back to normal!! Thank you sooo much guys. gave me a heart attack there. my old plugs had 120k miles on them... they look pretty beat up too. but surprisingly i dont feel much of a difference. i think it's more smooth.. but my car has always been smooth anyways. but thank you for your help again!!! much appreciated!
