how do people feel about the L-Tuned exhaust.....is it to loud?? is it quiet?? i dont want anything loud, im looking for a nice little rumble, then it wakes up when i slam on it, which would be once in a blue moon.

It's not loud like the HKS exhaust, but its not as quiet as the Borlas either. The L-tuned exhausts are some of the quieter ones on the market.

If you can find a set for a low price then go for it. If not, then I would look into something else. They look a bit bland for the price but looks are preference.

I would pay no more than $400 for them, even if they're discontinued.

Haha, bingo, so are you tho, lol but he's turning around selling for $675 when he paid $250+shipping from Carson clearance sale. Yikes major price hike, lol...so Ill probably skip them, (not for getting banged on the head, discountinued or not, isn't this a community and not an eBay site, lol.)

im looking for something quiet but does have a sound, seems like Borla is the way to go.

Anybody else have insight on some other exhausts that are on the quite side

That's definitely overpriced. For that kind of money you're better off getting Tanabe. But as stated before, the L-Tuned are one of the quieter ones for the 2GS. If you want something similar look into Borla or RMM.

I have Them and They sound great! Just bolt on, you will probably hear just a little rumble, with the resonators and cats taken out that's when the mufflers wake up.

Recommend if you like the clean factory look from behind. if you're looking for a racing look then get something else.

here's mine without the resonators

There was a Carson group buy a few years ago (06?). I wish I had bought one, but I bought my Borla instead with no regrets!

Tanabe is definitely a nice choice when it comes to looks and quietness. There are quite a few choices out there, it just depends on the budget

The L-Tuned ones are axleback. Its quiet and not too loud if you leave the resonators in. After a while, you want it to be a little louder...hahaha
