Hey guys, I am thinking about asking the wifey to get me the Invidia mid-pipe for christmas. I have a Tanabe axel back exhaust on at the moment. If i add the mid pipe, will it get that much louder? will there be any added drone? Do you guys think it sounds good?

 

I love it. Only have 200 miles on the new mid pipe ( because i installed it last night ). as far as drone, when you are at a steady 70mph or around there not accelerating you wont here much noise. when you are at a steady acceleration you will def. be impressed. I went on Ebay and got mine for 280 + 50 for shipping. bet you i could have gotten cheaper only from what i saw posted on here.

How is it when you are steady at 40 or 50?

 

not noticeable at all..... only on wot or going uphill when you have to press the pedal a little more than usual

of course when you first get the midpipe it needs a breaking in period, roughly between 300 and 1000 miles from what i've been hearing. you honestly need to hear it for yourself to determine how it sounds. i'll let you know now though that you won't regret getting it

 

Sounds like im gonna ask for it. Im just not a big fan of drone at all. Tis the season !!!!

 

I hate drone more than anyone i know. you can here the exhaust from time to time depending on acceleration. but take it from me, you will love it. I know i do.

 

Hopefully it will be under my tree christmas morning....Heck, maybe santa will install it...
