Which of the following exhausts do you guys think is better? Greddy Evo II or Blitz Nur Spec? Pricing is about the same for both and they are both just mufflers that would require welding. Thanks!
Im purchasing an HKS Hi-Power exhaust but i hav heard sound clips of the Evo II and it sounds sick. but that was for the full catback exhaust. i nvr seen one that was jus the mufflers. here's a vidof the Evo II: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC8Oek17NL0
and here's the Nur Spec: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVrrgSoOFAE
hopes this help. there's a thread about exhaust with a bunch of sound clips. jus search for it
I owned the Blitz exhaust and that video above is actually mine. I must say that I LOVE the blitz and I would buy that exhaust again in a heartbeat. It has a nice deep rumble to it while staying moderately quiet inside the cabin. Go with the blitz.
i got the blitz nur spec on my sc400 now and love it!! Sounds mean, esp since cat is cut.. just manifold cats and resonators... The pair i got required nothing other then a couple bolts.. Plus they look sick.. imma try to record a vid of a couple revs.. imo blitz ftw
Evo II is a catback, no welding required. Other axle back exhausts that I've seen for the GS do not require welding, they all bolt up to the factory midpipe.
Yea my mistake, the nur spec does not require welding. It is a bolt on. However, the greddy does require welding from what I can tell in the pics that were provided to me.
i have had the blitz for about three months now and i love them, from about 4-6 rmp the note is the same as stock just alot louder, lower in the rev range it has a deep growl but the best part is no highway drone, doing 70-75mph at a little less than 3k rpm the car is actually dead silent
p.s. according to the butt dyno i lost some lower end torque but gained a few hp so a decent compromise
