I am still thinking of getting one myself too, but still debating between the srt with race ecu and this one. The srt with race ecu is more expensive than the weapon model. If you are getting one before me, pls, post your update. I know the k&n is street legal in CA, but not those two the weapon or str. Good luck.

If you want some HP gains get the SRT or K&N intake..Use a different filter though.. The oil from the K&N can clog up the MAF.. GL..

OMFG seriously guys stop telling people stuff like this. IT ONLY CAN AND WILL STOP UP THE MAF IF YOU CANT READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO OIL THE FILTER. i have been using k&n air filters for years and years and years and NEVER had any problems with CEL or maf becuase i know how to read and follow directions on oiling. ALSO TMF2004 have u ever personally used the k&n on the gs or you just going by what people say? i personally have used and am currently using the k&n

sorry tmf not mean to harp at you but i think it was olddog or we used to just say yea k&n will clog your MAF up....and its not true unless u excessively over oil the filter.

I'm using one right now and honestly haven't had any issues with the K&N filter.. I'm running the Rod Millen Intake. I also have a drop in the ES with no issues. ALso have used them in my old mustangs in the past. I've just read that they can clog and your right people don't read the directions and over oil them..

Thanks for apologizing BTW...

Leave it stock. The HP you gain is minimal compared to the damage you will do to your engine by switching to a K&N.

Dont go Dragon. Happy with my WR just a little over 2 years now.

You will be OK. When changing or cleaning your filter I also spray my MAF. Same time cleaning your TB and pulling your battery for reset. Good to go, ENJOY.
