I'm installing the HKS exhaust and the axle back pipe that connect to the mid pipe is giving me problems. I can't get the flanges to meet together. Where the bolts screw in together are touching but the outsides are still far away. How do I get the flanges to meet and greet parallel with each other? Are they suppose to meet or be off? Please respond even if you don't have HKS exhaust.
I finally figured it out at 11:00 at night. It just so wiggly that i thought it would leak. But everything is working. Not liking the HKS!!!! The drone at low rpms is annoying. It sounds good at WOT.
I haven't installed the midpipe because I'm afraid to remove the O2 sensor. I have the tool to remove it but i don't want to unscrew it and break the wires... I'm guessing it will drone even more with the mid pipes on.
I"m gonna drive with the exhaust for a week and see if i can get use to it. If not will be selling or trading for tanabe or greddy or even F-sport exhaust.
