Artisan Turbo IS350 Progress Thread
Yeah its better to gut your car if you want to potentially run a faster time.. before i went to the track.... I gutted the car with no clue what I was doing all the seats everything in the trunk and hell even my glove box contents were removed and it only took me 15 minutes But I do race my car and I dig it I raced a 427R mustang and prepped my car (and wallet) for 2 hours before the 12 second race

Let's just say this kit runs around 15k like the F kit...
How many of you would REALLY be willing to fork that much over? Sounds like we may have another LMS situation on our hands...

^^obviously that was a twin turbo kit. So this would be alot different in price. But you are correct to ask that question. How many people really can buy the kit. #1 it all comes down to gain. How much do you get for what ur paying. People are more likely to buy if the right numbers are there. Weather its a LMS situation or not how about we stop looking at the past and look at the future. Look at where our cars are progressing performance wise. Everybody wants turbo, everybody wants boost.... then someone takes a chance on the IS and everyone starts bashing it and says its not gonna sell. If youre not gonna buy it, thats fine. But lets see what we got before we make assumptions.
Overall who cares if it doesnt sell to 100 people. Its great that its even an option now

just like weirdazndu and iSuxeL and a few other people on here

If you want it.. you want it... if not.. oh well!
I run around a 12.6-12.8 full interior on a street tire.. In 4 days I will be going to the 1/4 mile track and give you an update I will be completely gutted on the spray and a good tire I might even bump the shot up for one run and try to take HKS350s title of fastest is350

I totally agree with wierdazndu's philosophy. It's great to just have another option out there for those true fanatics. If the gains are enough, I'm sure many people will join.
Props to you again for being the guinea pig!

Will be following this thread
whether its worth it or not it depends on the person. But its wonderful to see that vendors/companies are willing to try something new to our cars. Its all about development people! it gets boring if all we can do is add some lip kits, red outs and suspension.
