Artisan Turbo IS350 Progress Thread
Hey guys sorry I didnt really have a good thread yesterday. Was traveling through Texas and was at a rest stop doing a quick thread. Anyways this will be the official thread to keep you guys updated on the progress of the turbo kit that Artisan is developing for the IS350.
Talked to Kenny Strickler about the kit @ turbochargers.com office yesterday and so far and the only real detail I know at the moment is that is is going to be similar to the Twin Turbo IS-F kit, where it is a rear mounted kit. Pipes will lead to the front where the intercooler is. Under the hood it will look almost as if you just had an intake system.

Note: People ask is this kit safe? Will my engine blow up? How reliable is turbocharger.com / Artisan?
Answer: This is a legitimate company. They started in 1979. They work closely with many other companies and such developing products. Some examples are, Lexus itself, mishimoto automotive, the US Military. Just quick examples. They arent going to produce a product that isnt safe to run. Is there a risk? Yes. Tuning cars is always a risk. However, you dont know how far you can go with your build unless you push the envelope. Many people may criticize and say that it is unsafe and may blow the motor but its a risk im willing to take. Like I said guys these guys are top notch. After meeting Kenny Strickler and talking to him I was amazed about how much he knew, and how passionate he is about this stuff.
