Hey I found this video looking around on youtube but the guy didn't get such a great time. He claimed it was because he didn't have any traction.

Wow, that video rocked. the IS was only slightly slower than the vette. That IS is SC'd? I thought the vette was? Its still pretty good.

he said he needed tires but his car looks like someone on the forum that is supercharged, if he actually does a good launch and reaction time, I think he should be in the 12.9's

maybe the elevation of the track, I know some parts of indianapolis are 800-1000 feet above sea level.

thats only 5lbs of boost right... howmuch hp does that equal out too?

based on what others have posted the LMS kit running 5 lbs adds around 40ish rwhp

It is true that with the SC you don't have any traction. I break tires through 2gears on the street. So imagine what it's like at the track. And that IS is on here I forgot his SN.

My last car had over 500 hp and had no traction issues launching at the track

I heard a rumor they sell better tires :P
