? okay maybe im missing something here but i thought a big single was better than twins, unless the twins are smallish and you're going for responsiveness.

i didnt think that you would go from twins to single back to twins. i am only basing this on what i hear of GTR guys with 26s though. Its like if you want big power go a big single, if you want medium range power go medium twins. SOme of it has to do with space though too obviously seeing as there's only so big you can go with a pair of turbos as opposed to one

IIRC, I might be wrong but...the down side to being single turbo is the turbo spools at a higher RPM than it would with twins. You also make more power with a single. But he's going upgraded twins, which means he'll pretty much spool off the line. Upgraded twins will make a lot of power than just the one T51R

Wow u gotta post sound clips of the spool, the t51r kai is my favorite sounding turbo, must whistle like crazy. I've never seen twin t51r's before. Goodluck n keep us updated

I don't think you guys quite understand. Look at the size of the 5gal drum behind the turbo. Do some size comparison
