Default SRT Air Intake + ECU

Deal All,

I Installed this filter and was expecting alot but it seems that I didnt gain so much of power. I have allready installed the Medalion Exhaust along with it. i am really not happy with the perfomance gain in my GS300. To be frankly speaking, now my car is one of the best cars sound in the street. A mixture of the TANABE and SRT AirIntake is good for sound XD.

Can any one please advice or explain why. If any one know the expected differance please tell!!!

Thanks M8s

I don't think the SRT Intake will make your car sound turbo'ed, kind of a deep rumbling noise IMO

Unhappy disappointed

I just installed my SRT + ECU on my GS430 2nd Gen....
I think I could've been ran over by a NA civic for being in his/her way. There were a lot of barking from the intake but felt like all the tooth were sawed off to the gum line.

Let's see if their is any improvement in a few days.

^ just curious if at any point you just tried the intake with out the ECU? If so did you trip your CEL?

I just installed on an 06 GS430 and sounds great. Cant say the car is quicker. I havent tapped the ECU yet as I am not sure where to on my car yet.

I didn't get a cel, didn't want to, so I installed it the correct way. I drove it around today ...it's very disappointing. It's almost like paying someone to kick you in the head.

^ these are more for looks & sound IMO anyway. Yea I need to wire it up but since the wires may be different dont want to take any chances. Just waiting to see if another member is able to get the info or not. Not expecting anything huge but will be nice not to throw the cel and vsc.

thank you!
