$480 for an intake is a good deal

I hope this thing really makes the horsepower & torque they claim, but I doubt it.

The sound of the SRT is pretty intense from what I've heard and other members have explained to me, kind of like the sound of a bolt on turbo. I think that is what is was referring to with the comment :^^^ sounds like a beast though

I have an SRT intake and it is not louder or sounds any different than any other intake. I can asure you it does not sound like a turbo, not even close.

I believe they have dyno charts somewhere on this forum showing that they numbers they claim on the SRT website are not true. i've owned the srt intake and it sounds louder than stock but nothing near a turbo which i have now! he intake is made very well but i dont believe it made much difference compared to my old LMS intake

Are you saying it's not worth the price? Their website had dyno too showing the gains. If that's faked then they are *****ed. They should remove the claims.

I'd hate remove this stuff when smog check comes around.

Therre are dyno charts showing the claimed gains, there was a local guy who dynoed before and after (for this very reason) at SRT and picked up 30whp. Intake was installed on the car while it was still strapped to the dyno after making the stock runs. I can't remember his name but it's a burgundy colored Gs from the Mid Atlantic area.
