That's a long-time member on our forum Jaime (jmecbr900). Another member formerly in ATL now in WA Morris has/had a single-turbo built by them as well.

For both of them it's most definitely not a 'kit' but a custom setup.

$9,000 is a lot of coin for a turbo kit. That thing should be fantastic, but even then, the GS300 turbo kit below it is HALF the price at $4,500.

The work looks good. The reason it's so expensive is because that's a custom job. I don't know if anybody even makes a turbo kit for the 1UZ or the 3UZ.

Wow, very itneresting. But I would wonder what you need to do to run 17 psi on a stock motor. I haven't heard of anyone running over 9-10 psi on the stock pistons without the ring lands getting destroyed. Looks like a great setup.

BTW 9K is pretty cheap for a turbo setup on a 1UZ. Yes, 2JZ's are cheaper to boost, that's because there is so much support/product. 1UZ is a different matter all together.

9k is nothing for a turbo setup. check this out. these guys are legendary on bimmerforums.com, my main forum. crazy amounts of power out of these kits, but DAMN are they $$$.

this is a list of the turbo kits they offer for the e46 m3 (01-06)
