It just lies to the ECU about how far you pushed the gas pedal. To get the same results, for free, just push the gas pedal harder.

What is the difference between the car on power mode and the blitz controller modes?

there are 4 modes:

ECO ( i think it is same as the stock car on power mode) - comparing with stock vehicles, it has tuned to be more reponsive at the lower range of the accelerator. By tuning it this method, the vehicle will move without pressing much on the accelerator, which is mainly for city driving.

SP1 - Instead of tuning only low speed range, it is tuned to increase the overall response range. It is the most balanced and easy to drive mode.

SP2 - It is tuned about twice the ratio comparing from the SP1's lower and mid range setting.

SP3- It is the most responsive setting. The throttle will be fully open at half the accelerator. Perfect for someone who always likes to drive at full open throttle.

There is a safety function that it will always reset it self to OFF every time the ignition is turned off. It is configured to always reset itself to normal mode to prevent accidents if a person who does not know a throttle controlling device is installed and drives the vehicle. Once the power is turned ON (you have to press the button to turn on the device), it will display the mode that was selected previously.
