Default Looking for a quite exhaust system...

Who makes the quietest exhaust?

I drive a lot for work and it gets pretty annoying to have a loud one.

How loud the exhaust sounds depends on the design of it and what car it's mated to. In the GS case, the Borla is very quiet. Slight rumble at acceleration and OEM quiet once you're cruising.

Isn't the borla an axle back system? Axle backs are quieter than a catback exhaust.

I have a Tanabe Touring Medallion, def. louder than stock during acceleration but whisper quiet compared to a Greddy. It's a full catback as well which will pick up some power for you instead of just looking shiny like an axle back.

Yep I have the Touring Medallion too and I definately recommend it . Not too loud, but loud enough. It is interesting how as soon as the revs go past 3k, it becomes almost dead silent. The noise level significantly drops instantly.

What about MagnaFlow? I heard their mufflers aren't loud, and not that quiet.
