Few updates as of today.
- Picked up the plastic engine cover from the body shop. Repainted a dark metallic blue. Looks very nice and is very shiny
- Picked up repaired and modified bumper(OEM bumper with bottom grille cut out + TTE Lip molded in) from body shop
- Rerouted some new intercooler piping...woohoo my foglights can finally go back in!

Bottom pic shows how low my car sits to the ground. Literally about 3" of ground clearance

dang jeff how do you get around? lol i mean how do you get up on curbs? and dowwwwwwn on dips bro?

I think I'm around $9k total so far lol. My original turbo setup cost me about $3000. My new torrent of upgrades cost me about $6k. This includes a whole new engine including head and shortblock that has upgraded internals(everything just freshly rebuilt so basically like new), 1000+HP capable fuel system, Race built transmission, high stall torque converter, AEM EMS Standalone engine management system, a bunch of powder coating and chroming work, and a bunch of head work (custom port and polish, multi angle valve job, and gasket match all ports). I'd say I actually did all that for relatively "cheap"

Here are a few pictures for you guys to gander at
Fresh from the chroma-coating. Basically a powder coat that's so shiny it almost looks like it's chromed. It's also excellent at keeping the heat insulated...oh yeah it looks nice too

so with this setup, are you using the original ge wiring loom?

and how are you going to use the coil on plug setup on the gte head? splice the loom for the gte arrangement into the ge loom and then get it all tuned?

thanks in advance for your answer and keep up the good work!
=)

i'm confused. did you decide to completely ditch the NA engine and go with the 2JZGTE? Or are you retaining the block but putting in internals and head?
