vin...they normally are fastened with zip ties. However, some kits come with long bolts and they fasten through the front radiator cover.

im afraid that plastic wont hold up as long, they might snap at a bad moment like on the freeway.

The plastic wont snap. They're pretty darn good actually.

I used metal straps instead. A little more work, but Im pretty happy with it.

I'm glad I spent the time to read this whole thread today! Made me think that I really need this cheap and easy mod the way I like to drive my car! "Drive it like you stole it!" I just placed my order with Simmit. Should be here tomorrow and on my car in the next two days!

Hey you guys that have an intercooler...where did you fit the tranny coolers? I don't have any room left in the front because my intercooler is so huge lol. I don't wana put it in front of the IC either since that will look ugly.

Perhaps you can put it in the back of the radiator? Since you already have an intercooler, a/c condensor, and the radiator, I doubt a passive tranny cooler can help much. At this point, I would be looking into a cooler with a built-in fan. B&M sells a setup with a fan that activates once the fluid reaches 175 degrees.
