How high? and why. The shop estimates approx. 12 hrs. of labor for the install of all plus all fluids.

According to the shop book which gives an estimated number of hours for the type of work, to replace a TC, it states 7-8 hours... depending how much the shop charges by the hour...

BTW his labor rate is only $65/hr and said after he sees all the parts he might be able to lower the install quote.

That's what I'm saying...my shop is going by shop manual standard labor times. He said it could be less time when he looks at all the parts. Right, 7-8 hours for the TC. Even if it's 6 hours for the TC they still have to install the LSD, half shafts and tranny cooler plus tranny and diff. fluids. You guys still think this is too high? I think the CL member Hameed got both the LSD and PI TC installed at the same time...maybe he can shed some light on the subject if he sees this thread (hopefully).
