HKS Exhaust or Keep Borla???
Quick guys. I only have two days left. I've had the borla ex on my GS400 for a good two years now. I'm ALRIGHT with it, not too crazy about it. I would like a deeper growl now. For anyone that has heard the HKS and the Borla: Am I better off going with HKS??? I've heard clips but we all know it doesnt do much justice. Someone help!
I've ridden in both GS4's with HKS and Borla, and i like the HKS sound, it's deep, but not ricey, it has a very good tone to it... If your looking on the MORE quiter side, go for Borla... the HKS exhaust tip is HUGE compare to the Borla...
I've owned both:
Borla: Too quite for my taste, it does have a nice sounds, you know it's better than stock, but sounds too close to stock to me
HKS: Nice deep tone, not ricey at all, the exhaust sounds like you own an aftermarket exhaust
Get the HKS if you want a nice deep tone

the HKS has a deep growl to it. You wont be dissappointed, and this is coming from a Borla owner
Normally HKS are kind of noisy and ricey, but those only apply to those 4cyl guys. We have that V8 engine that makes it so easy to get the rumbly noise.
