Dyno Tomorrow!!! any estimates???
i'm gonna dyno tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. ^_^
any guesses as to what kind of numbers i'll be putting down? everyone here says at this altitude and such i should be happy with around 350hp to the wheels. i want at least 370+ to the wheels. i have the RMM kit on a GS400 with the 3.12" pulley.
oh! and i hear that you can't tune our cars for partial throttle and can only tune for WOT? well, i hope it all goes well! i will get a video and pictures for sure. i have to put my stock wheels back on so i'll probably get a little more power than i would normally with my 19's lol

What are you using for fuel/air control? Do you have headers? Do you have any fuel mods (upgraded fuel pump and injectors)?
Do you have a high stall torque converter (if so, does the place doing the dyno know how to lock it down?)?

i only have an SAF-C, i'm not the one tuning it, the people at the shop are. no headers, only other upgrade i have is RC Engineering 330CC injectors. no upgraded fuel pump or anything. no TC.

3 inch pulley, 370CC RC injectors, Walbro high volume fuel pump, some other minor stuff.... Plus tuning by someone used to tuning Lexus cars (and at a lower altitude).
I hope you do better than that
but think you may be limited by your pulley and fuel setup.
Guess I also should have asked, what kind of dyno are they using? Do you have a baseline pre-FI dyno from them?

i might have to look into getting more things done
if i get low numbers i'll be very disappointed.
i'm not sure what kind of dyno it is. i justk now the shop is very reputable and the dyno has AWD capabilities, it's a really sweet dyno. i did a dyno when i had SRT intake/ecu and cat-back. since my car was so low and the tires were so wide, they couldn't get a proper reading, it would read up to 3500 RPM and then would lose traction.
@ 3500RPM i got:
244. something RWHP
301. something RWTQ
no tuning, just put on the cat back, put on the ecu and intake, that's it, PWR button was off as well [if that makes a diff.]

Don't forget those are numbers at the rear wheel, not at the crank. Still very respectible - remember RMM only said (if I recall correctly... which is questionable these days, lol somebody correct me) an increase of 75HP with this supercharger setup originally.
What changes are being made to your car to get it to dyno right this time? Too low and too wide tires at that HP sounds a bit iffy to me honestly... I've heard of that issue with 900 rwhp cars, not with 250 rwhp cars.
Make sure to find out what brand dyno it is, and take a memory stick and/or floppy disk to ask them to save the dyno files for you in addition to the printout. Also make sure to get printout with the air/fuel readings on it in addition to the HP/TQ (if you're tuning they'll certainly include it but just to be sure).

well to get it to dyno correctly, i'm taking off the front bumper, side skirts and removing my rear wheels [wide ones] with my stock wheels. so i shouldn't have any problems. they said i kept losing traction because my car couldn't be strapped down entirely because my tires would keep rubbing on the fenders
