Default LEXUS PERFORMANCE DUAL EXHAUST.. worth the $1K?

I see alot of postings about tanabe, HKS, and now borla, but I don't see any postings regarding the LEXUS CATBACK PERFORMANCE exhaust. I know the Lexus exhaust is just an HKS exhaust under the Lexus label, but I wonder what are the reviews regarding performance.

Not worth it ...

If u want a decent one, just get tanabe or wait for a new one to be revealed soon

I only heard sound clips, but I think the Tanabe's the closest thing to the Lexus - HKS exhausts...for half the price.

I like the lexus one it looks clean and not like to huge coffee cans attached to your muffler. The price is ridiculous I went and they said 1700 with installation I started to laugh. I have a few friends that supposedly can get that same exhuast for around 600-700 but will see. It just looks clean and sounds just right

dont mean to thread jack but im curious if there are any "real" differences between the Lexus HKS versus the Hi-Power HKS. for example: material, piping diameter, etc.

i have the lexus exhaust..it cost 1350 with install and tax included. its a nice exhaust and sounds great, but there is not much of a performance increase. If you want an exhaust and want Lexus to install it, go for it

here is a clip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=r7ZDNBRgj-A

i really hope thats not what the exhaust sounds like after its been broken in (referring to the youtube link). i was expecting a clean low mellow sound instead of a raspy can of bees...
