Question about AFC controller

does anyone here have the Apexi AFC controller installed on their car? if so how does the car perform when running lean? are there any down sides to installing this part (from a tuning specialist)

I haven't tried using the SAFC, but I talk about it in my Custom self-tuning piggy-back ECU thread.
