what is the difference, if any between a boost controller and a electronic valve controller?

 

A boost controller might just be a manual one where you turn a **** to adjust how much boost you run.

If you're talking about the HKS EVC, it's an electronic boost controller. Same thing as a manual one but using electronics to keep it more precise and constant.
