Cliffud, the green part of the harness is a patch harness(or called extension harness). It's so you can cut those wires instead of your stock ECU wires. In case you ever decide to return the car to stock, there won't be any cut wires on the stock ecu.

VM 2, the manifold is for a 2JZ-GE. The bolt pattern is different for the GTE motor. You should be able to pick up a 2JZ-GE manifold kit for about $200-300 on ebay. It will come with the manifold, downpipe, 4" intake pipe, and a wastegate dump tube.

I'm hoping the engine is fine. I tore down part of the motor today to do a few tests. It seems like the motor is still ok. I did a compression test and all cylinders are still holding air besides one. I think it's due to some faulty valves though, which is cheaper to replace than doing a piston swap. I think the actual problem is that I blew out one of the coilpacks. More to follow tomorrow when I do some more "extensive" testing lol.

Either way, for all of you FI guys. Keep AT LEAST $2-3k reserve fund ON HAND for when things go south. I was planning on getting a whole new SupraTT bottom end sometime in the future for my car if the pistons went bad. I just didn't expect it to be this soon lol. Hopefully I won't have to...just yet.

Welcome to the world of boost. And just to confirm, will the Supra TT block bolt straight up to our GTE head? I was calling around yesterday for pricing on the TT block & parts.

Actually, we have the GE. The supra TT motor is the GTE. And yes the GTE bottom end will bolt up to the GE head. Only difference is that the oil pump or water pump is different or something(both parts can be picked up at the Toyota dealer). Other than that everything else bolts up. I had the money on hand to get the new block, but I just wasn't planning on doing it so soon lol. I mean I've only been boosted for like 1.5months

The wastegate didn't hold for some reason. Boost jumped to like 11PSI or so and there was not enough fuel getting to the motor. I think the methanol saved my motor. So far it doesn't seem to be any real damage. Just that a coil pack went bad. One of my mechanic friends is gonna come over later today to help me diagnose the problem. The car starts and Idles fine, but I can't rev past 2000rpm before the car starts to sputter.
