I'm in the same boat as you, was almost sure of getting the tanabe, but having doubts since our winter months here isnt the nicest with all the rain and road salt. I wonder if HKS has the same issues, maybe stick with the dealer installed one?

Expected delivery time for my Tanabe is April 17th. I am concerned, because of all the salt and sand on the roads during winter months in Ontario. Hopefully this does not become an issue....will have to wait and see. Anyone know of anything that you could condition the SS with to act as a deterrent to this type of thing. A local tire/wheel business owner where I live told me recently that he rubs Vaseline on his truck wheels once a week in the winter, has done this for years and never had a problem with corrosion.

Poor Boys wheel sealant. Works on all metal surfaces to seal and protect.
