In short you can do the following:

Fujitsu (Loud+some hp...its in debate still)
LMS (Loud and horsepower robbing)
K&N (Loud but 11+hp gains claimed)
JoeZ (Not loud but proven 5 hp gains)

Just search for the above intakes and make your own mind up.

The funny thing is if you look at them, they're all designed the same...

Not the JoeZ, which really isn't even an "intake", just a smooth pipe.

It would only void the warranty on certain things. Manufacturers have to show to some extent that a failure is due to the intake. Basically, if an injector fails, it would be covered, but if the MAF fails, it probably wouldn't.

Two questions:
1. I drive 95% hwy, was wondering if you guys see any gas mileage increases?
2. These intakes may be loud when you WOT, how are they when you're just curisin' at 70mph?

1) Gas mileage may not be significant to consider any difference. There is a difference, but insignificant.

2) The engine is quiet at 70 mph if on 6th gear; RPM is about 2k at 70 mph on 6th gear. Most intakes will be loud at 3k+ RPM.

Intake sound volume has more to do with throttle position than RPM. When driven with light throttle, most people wouldn't even notice an aftermarket intake.

LOL i agree, especially the black GT i raced the other day and i dont see why ppl bring down the LMS intake? The LMS intake and Fujita intake are the same, they both have a pipe, both have a filter, and both dont have heat shields. whereas the K&N does.. basically a air intake is a pipe and filter and sometimes a heatsield if its a SRI system. i like my setup the best because well its my own. i have a LMS pipe, AEM Synthetic filter (instead of the K&N one it came with), and a custom TLP_IS350 alluminum heat shield. but if ur not mechanically savy then get the K&N. *ahem ok stayin on topic* so why is it that Fujita is better then LMS or K&N. and Joe-z doesnt even count as a intake its just a piece of alluminum pipe. i could bend a piece of pipe and sell it for $100 maybe its because u get a gay bag, gay cap, and watever else u get from buying a fujita. maybe LMS should throw in a diamond ring and they will outperform Fujita haha.
