Default Dyno'd today

Dyno'd my car today, for those who dont know it is a 98 Gs300 with Vvti Aristo swap with single turbo upgrade (70mm), stock maf, stock ecu, stock fuel(well usdm supra injectors). At 19 psi, 93 octane and with an unlocked convertor car made 430whp and 385wtq. Locking the convertor should show about an extra 20hp on the dyno.

Nice #s!! Stock fuel? You do have a pump dont you? Either Supra, GTR or a 255?

So you have a GReddy BCC too i'd guess? What is your estimation of the life of the stock tranny at that power level? I ask b/c I'm still BCC-less in an attempt to keep my lead foot from making the KKK twins beat my poor stock auto to death. Last motor dyno'd 333 at 12psi, but it was running badly. This one should be in the neighborhood of 400 at 14 psi.

Well............ according to the quarter mile calculator it should be a 12.09 quarter mile.

Do I believe it will do that? Probably not, lol..... but it *should* run in the 12's or close to it, I'm on a stock diff and tc...if i change those out I should be deep into the 12's.

Btw: here is a link to the quarter mile/horsepower calc if you guys wanna have some fun with it, lol...

http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/4601/hpcalc.html

I run a Walbro pump and of course a return line tapped into the factory assembly, but I considered that "stock fuel" for a supra setup thats why I referred to it as a stock fuel setup.

You can do the swap on a 400/430 not a big deal. In some ways you will be better off as you hopefully already have a lsd rear.

yeah i know, it's kinda funny i bought the 400 because i felt with a 2nd child almost here i'd have a lot less spare time and it would be ok to have a car with a decent amount of power stock instead of my usual projects. after driving around for a bit, "decent" is starting to not be enough .

btw is the 430whp with the car still running rich or did you straighten that out?
