Holy Crap!!!

check this out. I've kept my GS in the garage for the last 2 weeks, because it was running crappy and the CEL was on. After reading all these maf sensor threads, I decided to give it a shot. I bought some CRC Maf Sensor Cleaner at Kragens and used in on my car. I unplugged the battery to reset everything, and now it runs great. Throttle seems to be more responsive and CEL is off. My butt dyno measured and increase of a 2-3 horsepower gain... LOL.. j/k.. but she does seem to run better.

I too went to Auto Zone and bought the CRC MAF Cleaner. But i also re-oiled my K&N air filter, Cleaned the TB, flush and fill coolant, and FINALLY changed my rear differential fluid for the first time ever.....It came out like dark brown molasses I did notice a huge difference when i test drove it but cant really say it was the MAF sensor...

hmm...how come nobody asked the OP whether he had a 300 or 4xx?


300 has karman vortex maf...don't bother trying to clean it honestly unless it's just little stuff.

4xx has hotwire. Def. try cleaning before replacing.
