Every so often, I have been noticing a hesitation when I push on the gas to slowly accelerate. I hear the car working (reving up and down) before it starts to accelerate. Any ideas what would cause this?
Over the past 2 weeks I have had the spark plugs and tranny fluid changed and have also had the injectors cleaned (all at the dealership). Furthermore, I have tried resetting the computer.
The car seems to shift perfectly 99% of the time, however it bothers me when this happens. Could the problem be caused by pushing the gas pedal down just enough to confuse the computer?

We've had this problem for a couple years too, not sure what the heck the problem is, car is out of warranty now but changing the air filter has helped a little, it's still annoying and is much more frequent than yours is...
Try cleaning the mass air flow sensor (MAF). Take a Q-tip and some isopropyl alcohol and gently rub the wires inside the MAF so they become shiny again. If they are dirty it can cause the MAF to read incorrectly and cause hesitation. Be careful not the damage anything or you will have to replace the MAF.
