How many types of diff are they for supra . I got mine today ,it dos not look like any i have seen on the site. is there only 1 tipe of lsd and 1 tipe of open diff.or is ther anoder one.
Does the gs400 diff look like the non lsd supras.

Post up a picture of it. Might help others in tying to figure out what it is. Also, it would be a good idea to get a pic of the model number stamped on the tranny.
Ok i purchest a rmm 3.76 lsd for gs400 on ebay ,I took the cover out to see if i got the reel
thing . what i found is that it is defrent than the gs one but it does not look like the
supras torsen i have seen on the site. did the supra have two difrent types of lsd,
I red that from 97 up they changed two helical lsd.

FRom 93-95 auto TT definitely had LSD, all other years it was an option
It does have the cooling fins on the top and in the bottom. I was looking around and found a picture of a (type 2 torsen lsd) that came whith the supra on 96-97 and it looks like the one i have. and it has 49 tooth in the ring gear. doeit make sence.

Apparently i got the reel deel I installed the diff today, wow what a difference any way thank for the replys.

Yeah the car should just pull hard in all gears and punching it coming out of a turn you will be able to get on it hard without the inside tire spinning.
Funny thing is you probably knocked a few tenths off of you 0 - 60 times, but technically no HP gain from stock.
