Default Supra 6-Speed LSD into 2G GS3 Pumpkin?

I know this topic has been addressed many times but I want to know definately. Will a Supra LSD (just the LSD portion (carrier)) fit in the GS3 pumpkin?

Thanks

I just swapped the Supra Torsen Gleason style LSD into my GS400. I kept the stock 3.26 gearing and just swapped out the LSD. So if the GS300 rear, and 400 rear are the same then yes you can. Just a side note, if you have the actual supra housing you may want to use that b/c it is a sturdier unit than the GS one, it has cooling vains and uses thicker heavier metals. So the ideal situation would be a Supra LSD in a Supra housing with stock 3.26 ring and pinion GS gears.

I have a 4.27 Supra non-LSD differential. I was told the actual 6-speed LSD would not fit as the carrier is different and it mounts different to the gear. I think someone on Club NA-T told me this.
